About us
If you’re looking for original paintings that not only enhance your space but bring warmth and meaning into your home, I’d love to welcome you into my world of art.
Running galleries in Palm Beach Gardens, Naples, Hilton Head Island, and Old Montreal was an incredible journey. But when the pandemic changed everything, I adapted, bringing my collection into a large home studio. Now, I offer a more personal experience—where you can connect with me directly and explore the paintings that speak to you.
From May to October, you can visit me at my studio in Laval, QC (61 De La Belle Plage). From November to April, I invite you to see my work in Boynton Beach, FL (11546 Briarwood Circle #3). Both locations are open by appointment only, giving you the time and space to truly immerse yourself in the art.
If you can’t make it in person, I’d be happy to meet you over Google Meet while I’m in Canada. This way, you’ll see my studio, get to know me, and I can pull out paintings that interest you directly from the shelves.
For those who want to explore even more of my work, I warmly invite you to visit Les Galeries Riverin in Quebec City (48 Côte du Palais). It’s a wonderful place to see a wide selection of my finest paintings, along with works by Jaugey and Moreau. You can also find my art displayed at Hyde Park Fine Art in Scottsdale, AZ.
If you’re interested, give me a call—(450-628-2233) in Laval or (561-810-4928) in Boynton Beach—or email me at richardriverin5@gmail.com. I look forward to sharing my work with you!

I
At 58, I found myself at a crossroads. Financial hardship left me unable to buy the art I loved, and in desperation, I picked up a palette knife—not out of passion, but necessity. At first, every painting I created felt wrong. I destroyed them one after another, questioning whether I had any talent at all. I hated it. I prayed for guidance, and then… something changed.
Six months later, I was no longer a struggling beginner—I had become one of the best-selling artists in Naples, Florida. My works, defined by their soft luster, thick textures, and spontaneous compositions, resonated with collectors. Over the next 15 years, I exhibited at Art Expo New York, standing among some of the most sought-after artists in the world.
Art had given me a new purpose. Over 20 years, I sold 4,000 original paintings, an unprecedented success. In 2015, I returned to Canada, opening a space in Old Montreal, determined to continue my journey. Now, at 81, I feel as energized as ever, painting from my home studio under the name Galerie Saint-Paul.
Beyond painting, I am a storyteller. My science fiction trilogy, Ghama-2: An Afterlife Story, takes readers on an extraordinary journey and is available on Amazon and Kindle. Writing and painting—two forms of creation that allow me to share my vision with the world.
My journey proves that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself, to take risks, and to find success where you least expect it. Creativity has been my salvation, and I will continue to create—until my final brushstroke.
Michel Moreau
Michel Moreau was born in France in 1940. Self-taught, Michel has developed a unique style, a blend of hyper-realism and modern impressionism. Details are important and he spends hours adding extra compositional elements to a painting that would have been a masterpiece without them. His work is modern with an abstract edge and incredibly perfect. The stunning faces of his character scenes are stunning.
Michel was awarded the highest honorary title by the Salon des Artistes Français in 1982.
Exhibiting his work in several galleries in France, Japan, Canada and the United States, Michel has been making a living as an artist since the early 1960s. Michel is considered by many art collectors to be the finest modern figurative artist in the world.
Daniel Jaugey
A self-taught artist, Daniel has developed an original, unique and very artistic technique. The texture adds charm to his paintings. Up close it is almost an abstract ,but the abstract shapes become figurative elements in modern impressionism when you move away from the painting. He has created faces for his recognizable ballad compositions in all of his character scenes.
He has lived as an artist since the early 1950’s.
Daniel is considered by many art collectors to be the best classical impressionist in the world.
